Processing and transfer of dataYour personal data will be used to provide the medical and diagnostic service requested as well as billing and payment and the management of your clinical history by this centre. Be advised the information is necessary for the correct provision of the medical or diagnostic service contracted. Refusal to provide said information will make it impossible for the centre to carry out the requested service. In the case that you have an insurance policy with an insurance provider responsible for the payment of fees and expenses accrued from the medical service provided, consent must be given for this centre to provide the insurer with the information strictly necessary for the billing and payment of said services and expenses incurring from them. If permission is not given or if it is revoked, without retrospective effects, you must immediately bear the costs of these services and expenses.
Delivery of results and reportsThis centre offers the patient the possibility of downloading test results and reports in an electronic format from the private area of our website. We provide a password and access key to those who wish to make use of this service. If you do not consent to the information being made available through electronic means, it can be collected personally by the patient or by the person duly authorized in writing in this document on presentation of their DNI /passport. Equally, with your permission, results and reports can made available in this private area to the doctor who ordered them. Access is restricted to the tests prescribed by each doctor: your complete medical history cannot be accessed. With the exception of the aforesaid reasons, we do not anticipate any other use of your personal data.
Legal basis for processing of personal dataThe basis for this processing is to perform the contract related to the requested tests and their results as well as their billing and payment (art. 6.1b RGPD) , it being legitimate to process the necessary health data to carry out said tests or issue a report or diagnosis (art. 92.h RGPD). The conservation of your clinical history is a legal obligation stated in the Patient Autonomy Law 41/2002. Equally, we may use your information to comply with other legal obligations of this company. The aforementioned uses of your information have basis in your consent (art. 6.1. a RGDP) and are revocable without retrospective effect. Conservation of information We conserve your information for the period stated in the Patient Autonomy Law 41/2002 and other laws applicable to the activity of this centre.
RightsUnder the Data Protection legislation, data subjects have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, withdrawal of consent, limitation and data portability. If you believe you data protection rights have been infringed you have the right to lodge a complaint against this centre by submitting a complaint accompanied by a copy of an official identity document, sent to the aforementioned address or by email to the address dpd@doctorrovira.com. Equally, if you are not in agreement with processing of your data carried out by the centre, you may present a complaint before the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos.
